Basic rules for HST.com

As a new member at harescrambletalk, there are some limitations as to what you can do and what you cannot do.

Before we start though - harescrambletalk is a NO-NONSENSE FORUM - there is a STRICT "NO BASHING, NO FLAMING" rule here at HSt.com - if you find the need to start attacking somone on a personal basis, your posting privledges will be suspended without warning. IF you are having issues with an individual, you should first Private Message them in the most polite manner you can. If you must run your mouth about someone, we suggest you do it to their face. we know this is hard for most people, but is truly the best way.
This rule espesially applies to Promoters and friends/workers of promoters. We all know there are tons of racing oppurtunities out there and some promoters feel if they make another promoter look bad it makes them look better. It doesn't, in fact the opposite occurs in our opinion. I also surf a ton of other forums, so i know of many promoters that create alias names and bash others and talk themselves up. It won't happen more than once here. We strive to be the very best in supporting other series and have always done so. We have never charged anyone to post on HST.com. It is simply here to let everyone know what is going on in the area.
It takes a lot of work to keep these forums up and running and we get no monitary funds in return. Please keep this in mind when posting.

Constuctive criticism is Okay. Please be as positive as possible when addressing issues you may have with a promoter or individual.

No profanity whatsoever!


Other things: Before posting in ANY area - be sure to read the description of that particular category. For example, if you post a for-sale message in the General area, don't be surprised if you come back later to find that it has been deleted.

These rules have been on here forever, I just wanted to put them in a more visable location!
