Default Clutches on 2009 KX250F

I bought the bike in february. I haven't been riding nor racing much so I can pay it off. I have gone through 4 sets off clutches. I went to dirt Country a week after having them put in. The bike didn't even finish the practice laps. That day was a sunday, I had a new set in put in the following wednesday. Raced wednesday night to test them out. The guy at gateway cycles told me Kawasaki made the rod that goes in the clutch basket too long. He told me he has had many complaints and has been shaving them down. He did that to mine that tuesday or wednesday. I race the fair wednesday everything seemed fine. Take it to happy hollow saturday, They are out again. Any Ideas..?

I've changed the oil every 3 rides since I've had the bike. changed the oil filter a couple times...this is a little ridicolous. We have been on the phone with Kawasaki and gateway trying to work something out but I can't explain my frustration with anything green now.

I have a 09 250f and I rode mine for months then put in a rekluse and switched over the friction plates. They are still good a year later.
Do you have plenty of free play in your lever?

yes. The mechanic at Gateway Cycles reset the play when he put the new clutches in. It was about a 1CM (aprrox)

I would guess that your inner clutch hub is bad!

Have the clutch springs been replaced or the height measured?

Would the Inner hub be visible? Would there be a way to tell if it's shot by looking?

and about the springs, we've had them replaced every time we change the steals and friction plates. We also tried larger springs to redudce slipping.

What type of Oil are you using in the tranny? You cannot use a synthetic or semi synthetic oil in the tranny!
