Well since the Full Throttle race in June left me with a totally destroyed axle housing and a couple cracks in the frame i have been rebuilding my KFX400. Gussetted the frame and had it powder coated. Rebuilt the rear end. Rode it for the first time last week.
It's ready........"I'll be back"

A friend and I replaced my countershaft sprocket seal, oring, and bushing the other day. Now I need to get the new chain and sprockets on the bike. After that, it's just a few little things away from being done!

Thumbs up

Well Iv'e installed linkage and swingarm bearings as well as shock bearings. Put all new graphics on the shrouds, front and rear fender graphics and ,swingarm, airbox, and fork graphics, the bike is going to be looking sweet.

I've got a week long break from college coming up, so I plan on rebuilding the top end and installing wheel bearings and other miscellaneous parts during that time.

I'll post a picture of the bike when I finsh it!

Default One of my many winter projects

I had a not so great time with a timing chain tensioner after a top end rebuild on the KTM xcf 250. Needless to say I could do a top end in about 45 minutes now not including clean up after having apart about 3 times for various reasons.
But man is it worth it, nothing like a first kick start on a cold four stroke in 35 degree weather. Which probably means once it warms up outside it won't run worth a darn.
Also added a full Yosh exhaust and looking at adding a steering stabilizer.
Not even mentioning the work on the kids bikes or the wife's quad, I am now broke and need some more side work.
